The Possibilities
Featuring finger-played, pick, harmonics, chords, and SFX articulations, as well as drones and pads, it offers 9 unique patches and more than 70 creative presets. The EPS Zither is designed to inspire a wide range of musical ideas, from intimate melodic writing to evolving immersive soundscapes.
The Zither’s finger and pick patches are sampled with 4 dynamic layers and 3 round robins, providing natural playability and expressive control while preserving the instrument’s organic character and subtle performance nuances. The harmonics patch highlights the instrument’s bright, clear tone, adding focused and shimmering colours to the palette.
The Chords and SFX patches expand Zither's creative possibilities. They are ideal for sound design, layering, and adding percussive elements, and can even be used to create rhythmic patterns and beats (see audio example: Zither n Chill).
